Westmoreland County Community College has appointed Dr. Kristin Mallory as their next President. Dr. Mallory currently serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wor-Wic Community College in Maryland, and is responsible for the leadership of Academic Affairs, Continuing Education and Workforce Development, Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness, Learning Services, and the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy. Prior to this role, she served as the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at BridgeValley Community and Technical College. Dr. Mallory has also held the leadership positions of: Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Bridgemont Community and Technical College; Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Chair, Department of Dental Hygiene at The Community and Technical College at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. She has taught at The Community and Technical College at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Wor-Wic Community College, and Chesapeake College. Dr. Mallory has a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty State College, a Master of Education from Salisbury State University, and a Doctor of Education from Marshall University.
