RPA Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Earnest Lamb, Jr. as the next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of Purchase College, SUNY. Dr. Lamb currently serves as the Dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) which consists of the School of Performing Arts (music, theater, and dance), School of Entertainment Industries and Technology, School of Media Arts & Design, School of Art, Department of English, and the Department of History, Languages & Humanities. Prior to joining MSUM in 2017, Dr. Lamb served as Chair of the Department of Performing and Fine Arts at Fayetteville State University. Additionally, Dr. Lamb has served as Chair of the Department of Music at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, as a lecturer and Orchestra Conductor at University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and as an Orchestra and General Music teacher at Little Rock Public School District. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Memphis, a Master of Music at Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of North Texas.
