Columbia-Greene Community College (C-GCC) Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. Victoria Walsh as their 7th President. Dr. Walsh currently serves as the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at the College. Prior to joining C-GCC, Dr. Walsh served in numerous executive positions in higher education including, Senior Vice President, Chief Mission Officer, Chief Strategic Planning Officer, Chief Advancement Officer, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, and Assistant Professor. She has also taught at Gwynedd Mercy University as an adjunct professor. Dr. Walsh has a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Newcastle University, UK. She also has a Master of Arts in Sociology – Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from University of Durham, UK.
